About Us

RCCG Goodnews Haven is one of the Parishes of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in the UK.

It was established on 5^th March 2005 following the call and empowerment of Pastor Godday Okosun. God had assured him that “Men and Money will not be a problem if he does not Mess up!”(The 3Ms)

The church since inception has been positively impacting the community. It preaches holiness and members are encouraged to live a holy life.

Psalm 107:30 “….and the Lord brought us to our desired haven” depicts the totality of what the church stands for;”a Sanctuary of rest”.

Services are always full of fun, lively and in the presence of the Holy Ghost. Testimonies also abound of the faithfulness of God on a daily basis, new born babies, weddings, mortgages, visas granted, promotions, new businesses, lives touched and the aged and young impacted within our community.

God has by his grace enabled his people to reach out to the community with programmes such as the Goodnews Anointing Service (GAS), Touch the Master’s Garment (TMG),Friends Sunday, Multicultural Day, Marriage seminar, the Summer Sunsplash etc

There is a theme for each month and teachings and prayers are usually focussed around this.

The house to the Glory of God has continued to grow with the 3M’s being supremely evident in action.
